FMP – MISSION STATEMENT AND AESTHETICS

This is the second deck I have submitted. It was a lot more visual and vibrant in order to represent the style, aesthetics, tone of voice and overall feel of my project. It also contained the first version of the mission statement.

I was looking at reference images in terms of the minimal and outlined illustrations on Pinterest. I believe everything that needs to be said with regards to this deck can be found in the images above.

The online tutorials and feedback via email was a very different experience, however it was definitely great in terms of documentation.

Shernette mentioned Camille Walala as a reference to look at and name within my project. I haven’t referenced her, however I have been using her as well as an inspiration since the HMV project.

The email feedback I received was:

By next week would be good to see more detailed analysis on several App design interfaces UX/UI, content, functionality, layout, usability etc.
Followed by a schematic/flat-plan for your APP design.
Also, would like to see more explorations on print formats and layouts of your leaflet and stationary products.

I was rather intimidated by the app interface, so I began working on the stationery to begin with. I felt I was more comfortable and confident with that part and I was going to view the stationery as a starting point in terms of aesthetics for the app.
